If you are asking why to use computer for graphic work,
its because its extremely fast,
able to redo work without starting over,
inexpensive to store and duplicate work (even considering cost of software), and fast and easy to work with others even if they are a long way away.
And consider you could work an entire project, all aspects of creating it, from a single computer, and never leave your seat
